    the potatoes out with a spade. We make a pit beside the bank. Then we pick the into a bucket and we put them into the pit. The potatoes is covered with straw and then they are covered with clay about ten inches thick.
    Then in spring they are sorted, the big potatoes are put into one pit, and the rubbish are put into another pit for the pigs, and the seed is put into another pit to sow in Spring.
