    The name of my home district is Trieneragh in the parish of Duagh. The name of the barony is Clanmaurice. There are about twenty six families living in my home district and about one hundred and forty people. The most common name in this locality are the Kirbys. Some of the houses are covered with slate, others with thatch and my own
