  1. Mrs Forde who lives in Sallygrove told me the cure for toothache was to catch a live frog in the field and to rub it along on your tooth and on your gums and it cures the toothache. To cure thrush is to get cuckoosarl in the fields and to boil it with Suplhur and to put it on the rash as a poltice.
    The child with the chincough gets several cures such as ferrits leavings and also to bring them out
