At the back of the house there are two big slated sheds for cows, horses and other animals and for hay. Around Brownes house there are a great many nice trees and there are a lot of nice flowers around the house and out from the front of the house.
About three hundred yards to the North-West of Brownes house there is a fairly large orchard of about forty apples, and a great many gooseberry and currants bushes.
