  1. The people say that when St Patrick was going from Ballintubber to Aughagower he crossed back at Hazelrock and down at Triangle. He crossed through a field in Hazelrock and he left a blessed well there and some person brought a dirty vessel to that well and it shifted from one place to another and it was never seen afterwards. It is also said that he crossed back through Ayle on his way to Aughagower and there is a well there and it is called after St Patrick. He went from Aughagower to
