    the fox smothered. But next morning they found he got out another hole about ten yards further on. There is also a badgers den in this wood. The badger is a terrible fighter. He is awful hard to kill owing to toughness of his skin. You could put a fork or pointed instrument through noplace except his head.
    There are no squirels about here.
