  1. There was once a family of O'Sheas living in Rathlahine. In 1847 they went to America. They sold their land and one of the gardens has ever since been known as "Sheas" garden.
    There lived in olden times a very learned man named Peadar Russel. He could foretell many things about weather, sickness, death, evil or war. When he died his place was called after him namely Bog Leiginn.
