    Before a rainstorm a cat may be seen to curl itself up in front of a fire.
    A hazy sun indicates rain.
    A red sunset sometimes tells of a coming storm. If the red is of a bright tone and general over the sky fine weather will follow.
    Cattle lie in a sheltered spot
