    Once upon a time there was a man who was running from soldiers who were after him. He was a very rich man. He had a lot of gold. This man was to be killed but before they caught him he had the gold hidden in Monafola Bog.
    Some time after men went looking for it. They brought with them spades, shovels and picks. They were digging for a long time. When they saw that they were unsuccessful they were about to go home. A man with a sword came up to them. When they saw him they left the spades and shovels after them and ran home. Some other men came looking for it but were
