  1. James Quinn was a highwayman. One day he was stealing potatoes on the plains of Boyle. The police got on his track and followed him to Keadue. He jumped the Feoiris and when he was safe on the other side of the river he sat down. The police said "Wasn't that a great jump." He said "Oh! look at the run I had to it." He was asleep in a tree on Ballyfermoyle mountain and he was captured and hanged in Sligo. When the doctor opened him he found that there was wings on his heart. He used to steal, butter gold or anything he could get. He hid gold on Ballyfermoyle mountain.
