There were two men once who were passing near the Fort and they heard the noise of chains around them. They got so much afraid that they could not walk and had to creep on their hands and feet until they got outside that field. It is said if ever anyone interferes with the Fort he will not live long after.
Long ago at twelve o'clock every night there were twelve lights seen at it.
