    A mug of milk is given to the ferret and whatever he leaves after him is given to the person who has the whooping cough.
    2. Whooping cough.
    It is another cure for the whooping cough to get nettle root and clean them and boil them for a half an hour. Take them up and strain them. This is called "nettle tea". It should be given to the person when he takes a fit of coughing.
