Co. Leitrim. - The following recitation was written and composed by Mr. James Higgins, of Garrow, Boyle, while prisoner in Boyle military barracks, and he considered it the most opportune time for its publication, now when his comrades are all at liberty.
In Boyle Military Barracks we all [?] were interned,
Pat Roddy, the Councillor, he being so well learned,
"Faith", he says, "I'm impatient [?] stick all the while,
With those twenty young prisoners awaiting their trial."(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
