    Story about him
    Once upon a time he was in Tullow and got too much drink. He was so small and his wife so big that she put him in her apron to carry him home. She was met by the police, who suspected that the poor woman had stolen property in her apron. They asked her what she had. Mc Coy heard the question put out his head and answered for her "A man ye honour."

    This man was commonly known as the Heck Brophy and seldom or never wore boots. He lived mostly by poaching and shooting and got a good deal of food from people
