    beast's tail. Some blood runs. The garlic and turpentine are put on as a poultice and secured with cloth. The beast gets well in about a week.
    B. Keogh's blood is supposed to cure Anthony's fire.
    C. If a person gets a cut in a field he gets soft grass, chews it and puts it on the cut to stop bleeding and heal the cut.
    D. Cobwebs are put on slight cuts.
    E. Some people say they have a prayer for stopping blood (a bleeding nose). They pray silently over one but the prayer is a secret one.
    F. In Aghade churchyard is a holy well which is supposed to date back to Isserninus. People use the water as a cure for rheumatism.
    G. A mixture of soap and sugar is put on boils to draw and cure them.
