    and buried him just beside the cross-roads. From that day on this man was supposed to appear at twelve a clock at night with a gun on his shoulder. Many people are said to have seen this ghost.
    One night a girl from Moynalty accompanied by her mother was returning home late from a party. Just as they reached this cross-roads a man appeared to them bearing a gun on his shoulder. They passed no remarks on the man, as they thought it was an ordinary man returning home. Just then the girl's mother said "Good-night" to the man and he suddenly disappeared.
