    When he went home he took the thing from under her tongue and she spoke to him and told him who she was and how she had come. The Cearrthanac was delighted for he knew her father. He sent for him and met him at the place now called Earl strand. Then the Earl took the lady and gave the Cearrthanach a lot of gold and horses and cattle for his farm.
    So where the two men met is ever since called "Earl Strand".
