  1. "The West Clare Champion"
    "McGrath from Moyasta Shore"
It is of an undaunted champion
    I now intend to write,
Who for his home and country's cause
    most gallantly did fight
And when he met with Balfour's curs he laid them in their gore
    I mean that steadfast patriot,
    "McGrath from Moyasta shore.
    McGrath inside his homestead stood,
while outside the Ram did sound,
He struck old cursed "Croker" and
    knocked him to the ground,
He then rushed at the " Bobbies" who "Balfours" ensign wore,
And left them bleeding on the ground
    Down by "Moyasta Shore".
