  1. Many years ago a man named McDermot was going to Parsey. When he came to the green he saw a ghost in the form of a woman. One minute it would walk in front of him and the next behind him. It disappeared when it came to Brady's. He met it again at Sugarloaf. When it appeared he imagined he saw a train coming across the road. He ran into a field for safety, and when he went in , he heard the cock crowing for the day. He imagined he was journeying all night. He landed at Parsey in the morning.
