  1. About seventy years ago there was a Roman Catholic priest in Belturbet names Father Gleeson.
    One day he went into a Public House to sell tickets . `When he came out he met a man names Sam Knipe . When passing the priest Sam insolently said "Were you in having a drink?" and other insulting things.
    The priest had a stick in his hand and he drew it across the road saying. "You will never go across that mark".
    Sam went home and that
