    There are four fairy forts in the neighbourhood of my home - at Kildallon, Listerman, Carn, and Dungimmon.
    They are all circular in shape and there are hedges round them and ditches full of water. There are three hedges round the fort at Listerman with a ditch full of water between each.
    There is supposed to be a tunnel from Carn fort to Dungimmon fort.
    Old people say that one of the Danes was buried in Dungimmon fort and that it was he who made the tunnel.
    There are a great many stories connected with Kildallon fort. One of them which is true is that a man who was returning late from a "ceilidhe" was passing the fort was brought astray.
