  1. The Leipreachan is known on our district as the Fairy. One night there was a man going home, and he heard some tapping and looking into a cabbage he found a fairy. The fairy started to shout but the man held him fast. At last the fairy said "I bet you won't ride your own jennet". The man took on the bet and got upon the jennet and the next place he found himself was Mohill Fairgreen.
