    presser called the "Battern Ram". The blacksmiths of those days were good fighting men. Here is an example of three of them. Cait Liory, Paid Donoho, and Sean McKeoin of Ballnalee. In the long winter nights, the Blacksmiths spent their time making pikes. If the people began to talk about "Miles The Slasher" or any other Hero, Cait O Liory would say "Ah shor He is dead".
