   The famine of 1846-'47 was the worst plague that the Irish people ever knew. An old man named John Murphy tells, that a lot of Irish people took a bad fever and died. All the potatoes were destroyed with blight. A year or so after the Irish people discovered a means of killing this plague. It is to spray their potatoes.
