    it is said that the fairies come out from their underground tunnels and sit under these trees at night.
    The second biggest fort in Ireland is at Burraue. There is a fort near Kilkee and there are marble passages in it.
    There was a fort near the Cricket Field (Kilrush) and a man ploughed it. He died of a terrible disease afterwards. It is said you should never till or plough a fort.
