  1. In the parish of lavey there lives a man named Mickie Smith. This man was very often drunk and the people used to play tricks on him.
    One night he was coming out of Cavan stupid drunk in an ass and cart. The ass was gogging along with the reins dragging on the road and Mickie asleep in the bottom of the cart. When he was coming near a house with no one living in it, called the Ghost House there were a croud of boys going on their caley. When they found Mickie coming they decided to play a trick on him.
