  1. To Cure toothache say-
    " As peter sat on a marble stone,
    a priest came to him alone,
    peter why do you sit so weak"
    O hard my masters I have a toothache
    "Rise up Peter and be throw well.
    And who ever shall keep these words of mine,
    shall never have a toothache".
    There is also another prayer which a little girl in my district made, and said it every night. This prayer is-
    "God bless me and my Ma,
    Cousin Maud and her Da,
    Us four and no more.
    For ever more amen"
    The prayer to say when going to bed is-
    "Jesus meek and Jesus mild
    Pity me a little child.
    Pity me and pity mine
    Come to me and come to mine,
    Heart of jesus I adore,
    Heart of many I implore
    Heart of Joseph true and just.
    And in these three hearts I place any trust.
    Another local prayer is
    I am sorry gentle Jesus
    For the wrongs that I have done,
