    The childrens hearts were joyful
    They were going to have a cruise
    Upon Lough Sillan's waters
    They parted friends and parents
    Not knowing what was going to be
    That their pleasant day would terminate
    In death and misery

    TIll the fateful boat was watching
    For them on every side
