  1. There was a wollen factory near Corries. Simpsons owned it at one time. It was Sir Jhon Simpsons and Sir Hugh Simpsons and a sister that it. There were a lot of woollen factories in Dublin and they were getting no trade and they got poor and they had to close it. It is over 30 years closed. It is situated a mile and a half from Bailieboro. The factory is in ruins and Mr Hall lives in the house where Simpsons used to live. There is
