  1. There are three tailors in our district. Some of them go about from house to house and others so their work at home.
    They usually keep cloth in stock. The cloth is not spun locally. The cloth they use is serge, gabardine, and woollen and cotton mixtures.
    The implements they use are a machine, a needle, a thimble, a scissors, and a smoothing iron.
    Some people make shirts in their homes. These are made [?] out of linen, cotton and flannel. Socks ona stockings are knitted locally.
