  1. About fifty years ago there was a Circus journeying from Mullagh to Bailieboro. About half ways between Mullagh and Bailieboro they all fell asleep.
    The horses walked on for about half a mile. At a narrow turn of the road they walked across the ditch. All the vans one after another fell down in the gripe.
    All the country people heard the cries of them when they were dying. For a long time after if anybody was going the road at a late hour a black cat would come out
