  1. The name of the townland is Lismeen. It is in the parish of Lurgan. There are eight families in it. There are about thirty one people living in it. Brady is the name most common in it. Three houses are thatched and five are slated. There are two old people living in it. They do not know Irish. They can tell stories in English. There were more houses in it long ago than at the present time. A few people went from there to America. The townland is not mentioned in any story. The land is very hilly and it is not good land.
