Tuesdays and Wednesdays are said to be lucky days for starting work. Saturdays are said to be unlucky days for leaving houses. Mondays are lucky days for leaving houses.
- St. Stephen's day is a very amusing day. The old custom of going around with the wren is almost dead now in this district but nevertheless it is still kept alive by most of the young boys of the(continues on next page)
