    with both teams. This match was a parish match. This football match was a draw and it was played again in a field outside Breffni Park, Cavan. There was a man named Flynn killed at this game.
    The ball was never kicked across the country from one townland to another. The sons of O' Connell were dressed in red jerseys and the Celtis were dressed in green jerseys.
    The kind of a ball that was a leather one. It was about half the size of the football nowadays. There were goal posts at this match. The kind of goal posts that were used at this football match were two long posts stuck in the ground with a rein tied across from one post to the other.
