  1. There is only one holy well in this district. It is called St. Patricks well. It is situated in a field of Philip Donohoe's in Carnagh.
    It is said that this well was in Sallahan at one time and that a woman washed clothes beside it and it moved to Drumgore. When it was a while in Drumgore a man cut a (man cut a) tree which was growing over it and it moved to Carnagh and it is there since.
    There is a stone beside the well and the track of St Patricks knee is in it. When a person goes to the
