  1. A Local Song

Ye residents of Arva I pray ye lend an ear.

    (1)
Ye residents of Arva I pray ye lend an ear.
About a band of loyalists I mean to let you hear.
Who nightly do assemble to cheer with song and dance.
The sad and lonely hours of their brother Andy Vance.
    (2)
A brace of peelers guard these chaps,
By night as well as day lest anyone should interfere or spoil their little play.
And thus to keep them company and pass dull hours by.
Some lively ladies visit them but thats upon the sly.
Their's griper Curtis from the town along with Samy Cox.
