- I play lots and lots of games. The ones I like best are, Dan-Dan-thread-the-needle, the big ship sails and the ghost in the garden. Dan-Dan-thread-the-needle is played as followed. Two children go apart from the rest and select two things, one each, such as the golden keys of Heaven and a golden palace. They then join the crowd and hold up their hands. The children pass underneath, singing "Dan Dan thread the needle all but the la[?] one." When the last child comes underneath they ask him which of the things would he prefer and he goes (to) behind the on[?] who has the object he likes best. This continues until there are no children left and the two leaders catch hands and we al[?](continues on next page)
