  1. There is a fort situated in the townland of Derries Upper and about two miles from the main road. The owner of it is John McCahill. There are fourteen trees round it. It is thirty yards long and fifteen yds wide.

  3. There is a fairy fort in the town of Killeshandra. It is about half a mile from the town on Mrs. Gipson's land. There is a tunnell through it.
