place them in a ring in the middle of the road or field. Then four boys put their feet on the stones and the other boy stand in the middle. He is called "the fool in the middle". Then the four boys on the stones try to exchange places with each other when the "fool's" back is turned. If he suceeds in getting in the other boy's place then the boy is the fool in the middle.
