  1. This is the way hounds and hares are played. Suppose four or five boys want to play it. The pick out one boy to be the hare. Then the get paper and give it to him He runs away and on his journey he drops the paper so when the other boys start to run they have some knowledge where he is gone. The other boys follow the pass where the paper is lying. The boy could run back the same way and hide where he started. The other boys cry like hounds. The
