  1. The weeds growing on our farm are Nettle, Dandloine, Dockon, Slanus, Rag weed and Ferns. The nettle is used to feed turkeys and sows when it is mixed with cabbage. Dandlione is used expeitsively around where I live. The Dockon is used to cure the sting of an Nettle. Slanus is uded to stop bleeding. Ferns are used to cure a burn when it is mixed with butter. all the old people used the weed as cures and seldom a doctor. Herbs were used extensively in former times to cure diseases.
