stones aimed at the "duck" to knock it down. If successful the player inside put up the "duck " and made an effort to catch the players while retrieving their stones from the ring. He dare not touch a player if the "duck" was down. If he touched a player in the ring while his "duck" was up, that player had to put up his stone and remain in the ring while the other player was free to go out and have his throw. It is a good game but the player inside may often get a crack on the shins from the other players stones.
