  1. Crosses were made with different coloured ribbons for St Patricks day and the women and girls wore them on their right shoulders.
    Long ago many people brought clay from their farms at home to Trinity Graveyard and they brought the same amount out of the graveyard to scatter round ricks or stacks of corn this kept the rats away from the grain.
