    19. A high blue sky is a sign of a frost.
    20. A noise up in Pullamagulm (a place in Finahoo two miles from Tiercahan School) is a sure sign of lots of rain.
    21. A noise in the mountain is a sure sign of rain too.
    22. A circle round the moon is a sign of rain too.
    23. Rain is more likely to come with the change of the moon, than at any other time.
    24. If in the Winter time, the sky gets high and the weather a bit warm, we hear it said ''it is going to snow''. We often hear ''It is too cold to snow: it is more rain we will have''.
    25. When the grass, and hills get a grey colour in Winter, snow often comes especially if there is an East wind.
    26. Wicked stars in the sky is a sign of storm (stars that shine very bright and that are jumping)
    27. When the stones begin to shine on the rock, it is a sure sign of wet weather.
