When the cat sits with her back to the fire it is a sign of snow. When the ass stands with his back to the hedge it is the sign of storm. When the wind comes from the North it is the sign of good weather. When the sun sets red it is the sign of frost. When there are streamers from the sun it is the sign of rain, when the sun goes pale to bed it is the sign of rain. When the crickets sing sharply it is a sign of rain.
When the crows fly high it is the sign of good weather. When the soot falls down we will have rain. When the mountains look near it is a sign of rain.
