    A Raheen
Once there was a field in Cloneen and Mr. Byrne ploughed and harrowed it. There was a spot in the field that was supposed to be a raheen and when he sowed the corn nothing grew. One night the people thought they heard a calf lowing and they went into the field and they saw a red calf lying at the end of the raheen it was not a calf at all it was the devil and it rolled and rolled till it fell into the hole.
