    Xmas Eve. The people indulge in currant bread + plum pudding, goose or turkey roasted.
    Shrove Tuesday. Pan cakes are made - Cakes made from flour milk and eggs beaten together.
    November Eve. Colcannon is made - potatoes peeled, boiled and mashed Sometimes with green cooked cabbage. Milk butter salt pepper & onions.
