  1. In the townland of Feddan, parish of Kiltegan, about six years ago a keg of butter, in perfect condition, was found by Mr German Eager when he was opening out a turfbank. It was sent up to the National Museum, Dublin, by the late Doctor Bryan, MD. of the district.
    He had also in his possession a 1798 pike, which was found somewhere in this district.
