- As Bray has the sea on one side and mountains on the other it has many weather signs.
When the sky is red in the morning it is the sign of rain, but when it is red in the evening it is the sign that the following day will be fine.
Another sign is when the mountains look very near it is the sign of rain, also when there is a fog that covers them.
When there is a north wind it is the sign of snow. When there is an east and south winds they mean rain. The wind from the west means fine weather.
If the fire is lighting and the smoke comes back down the chimney it is the sign of a storm.
