  1. A funny story
    The good thief 20-1-39
There was once a butcher who was very mean. He was to be evicted from his home, and to win sympathy he put the butchers block outside his house, and put a crucifix on it. This man was very pious, and he knelt beside the block to pray. Another man who was very witty was passing up the street. He paused for a moment, and sized up the situation at once. For a moment he stood looking at the butcher, and then he said to him Where's the good thief.
